I was privileged to work with Mary in my graduate speech and language therapist post in Springfield Green Clinic from 1996. How fortunate I was to have Mary as the DCP; my first experience of liaising with a DCP, and how easy she made it . I learnt from her, was supported by her, and laughed with her. My path brought me back to Essex in 2014 in time to see Mary in work a few times, share some stories, enjoy her warmth, and infectious smile . Mary, you gave so much to so many and fought hard.
